HP Graphite Electrode For Foundry Applications
HP graphite electrodes can also be used for foundry applications, where they are used as a heating element for melting and refining metal alloys. Foundries typically use electric arc furnaces (EAF) or induction furnaces to melt metal. HP graphite electrodes are used in the EAF as they can withstand the high temperatures and chemical reactions that occur during the process. The electrodes conduct the electrical current into the furnace, where it heats and melts the scrap metal. The graphite electrode also helps to refine the steel by removing impurities through oxidation. In addition to steelmaking, HP graphite electrodes are also used in foundries for melting other metals like aluminum, copper, and zinc.
HP Graphite Electrode For Steel Smelting Application
Iron casting: HP graphite electrode can be used in electric arc furnace for the production of iron castings.
Steel casting: HP graphite electrode is widely used in electric arc furnaces for the production of high-quality steel castings.
Non-ferrous casting: HP graphite electrode is used in the melting of non-ferrous metals like copper, aluminum, and zinc for the production of high-quality castings.
Investment casting: HP graphite electrode is used in investment casting for the production of complex and intricate shapes.
Sand casting: HP graphite electrode is used in sand casting to produce high-quality metal parts with high dimensional accuracy and a smooth surface finish.
