Product Overview
The 350mm-500mm large-diameter graphite electrodes are specifically designed for ultra-high-power smelting equipment. Manufactured using ultra-high-power needle coke (UHP) and premium coal tar pitch, these electrodes undergo high-pressure forming and high-temperature graphitization processes. They exhibit exceptional conductivity, outstanding thermal stability, and superior mechanical strength, making them ideal for large-scale electric arc furnaces (EAFs), submerged arc furnaces, and other heavy industrial applications.
Key Features
✔ Ultra-High Conductivity – Resistivity ≤5.5 μΩ·m (UHP grade), capable of handling extremely high currents
✔ High-Temperature Oxidation Resistance – Withstands prolonged exposure to temperatures exceeding 1800°C; optional anti-oxidation coatings (Al-Si/Phosphate) available
✔ Exceptional Mechanical Strength – Flexural strength ≥20 MPa (UHP grade), excellent thermal shock resistance
✔ Precision Machining – Processed using CNC machines for high-precision threading (3/4 taper or 1/5 taper), ensuring stable connections
✔ Extended Service Life – Low consumption rate; combined with anti-oxidation technology, lifespan can be increased by over 30%
