PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

UHP550mm graphite electrode is used in EAF for the recycling of especially scrap steel. By inserting UHP550mm electrode into the EAF and providing the required electrical energy, it creates and maintains an arc to generate high temperatures, melting the scrap steel and other raw materials, thus achieving the production of molten steel.

Magnesia fusion production:

Heating magnesite (magnesium carbonate) in an electric arc furnace can produce fused magnesia. Fused magnesia is widely used in refractory materials, ceramics, and other industries.

It plays a crucial role in both steelmaking process and fused magnesia production. Its application ensures efficient melting of raw materials and fine processing, resulting in high-quality steel and fused magnesia materials used in various industrial applications.

PRODUCT FEATURE AND APPLICATION

UHP550mm can be used in iron and steel smelting as well as the production of fused magnesia. In the steel industry, UHP550mm graphite electrodes are used for steelmaking in electric arc furnaces (EAF).

EAF is an important component of modern steel production, especially in the recycling of scrap steel. The high temperature generated by the electric arc can melt scrap steel and other raw materials, facilitating the production of liquid steel.

Fused magnesia production involves melting magnesite (a mineral composed of magnesium carbonate) at high temperatures in an electric arc furnace to produce permanent white mica. It can be applied in refractory materials, ceramics, and chemical industries.

UHP550mm graphite electrodes are able to withstand harsh conditions and high energy requirements during iron and steel smelting as well as fused magnesia production processes. UHP550mm plays a significant role in two different industrial processes: steel manufacturing (iron and steel smelting) and permanent white mica production.
